Job Summary
About the role
Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by accurately selecting and weighing ingredients for blending.
Responsibilities
- Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.
- Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.
- Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
- Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousing.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds continuously.
- Maintain integrity of raw materials.
- Afford assistance in inventory and cycle counts.
- Follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
- Follow all Safety Rules.
- Cooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.
