Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support production objectives by: Performing set-up related duties
- Troubleshoot production problems relating to equipment, tooling, and processes
- Support of company philosophies, systems, and policies through actions and words.
- Perform all the duties of a JLG level 4 or higher operator for a specific department.
- Setup equipment to standard work.
- Train and educate operators.
- Afford ideas and look for improvement of processes.
- Advanced troubleshooting of production problems relating to equipment, tooling, and processes
- Be the subject matter expert in regards to the technical and mechanical portion of machining.
- Drive to obtain and reduce setup target objectives.
- Facilitate Shift Start up and departmental meetings.
- Afford ideas and look for improvement of processes.
- Drive changes to reduce cost and improve department metrics.
- Perform, train and assist in preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling as needed.
- Identify and repair many machine malfunctions without guidance.
- Accurately complete records in maintenance management system.
- Identify and correct machining problems relative to tools and tool holders, collets and chucks.
- Ability to identify and rectify mechanical equipment malfunctions.

- Demonstrate proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Advanced technical training or equivalent

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift Kegs and Boxes on a regular basis between 25 - 35 pounds and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds. Considerable standing, stooping and bending is required. May be required to pass pre-employment and annual Vision Acuity tests.
