Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of departmental machinery.
- Make minor repairs to machine tools.
- Remove old tool from machinery and replaces with new tool.
- Set Up Department Goals: 100% on-time delivery, 100% production run rate, 100% attendance, Zero past due, Zero customer returns.
Qualifications
- High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge).
Physical Requirements
- Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
- Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
Pay
This is a Direct-Hire Position paying between $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
The hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
