Sessional Lecturer - URB337H1F: Housing and Homelessness (0.50 FCE)

About the role

This posting is for one (1) 0.50 FCE position. Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

Responsibilities

• Lecture on the themes of the course
• Prepare the syllabus and lectures
• Develop and administer grading, course assignments, tests and exams
• Mark and invigilate exams
• Hold regular office hours
• Oversee tutorials
• Supervise teaching assistants

Requirements

• MA in related field; at least 5 years of experience teaching at the university level; at least 5 years of experience marking undergraduate essays; evidence of recent teaching effectiveness; ability to teach online if required

Qualifications

• PhD in related field preferred
