About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and teach a University credit course
- Prepare and deliver course content
- Engage with students through e-mail and office hours
- Develop, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams
- Calculate and submit grades
- Order necessary readings
- Supervise Teaching Assistants (if applicable)
Requirements
- MSc Advanced Practice (Radiotherapy and Oncology) or a MSc with specialization or competency in the subject matter of the course and Medical Radiation Sciences
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in medical imaging and/or radiation therapy practice setting
Qualifications
- Proven record of teaching and curriculum development at the undergraduate or graduate level
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and mentor teaching assistants
- Experience with educational technology and online learning platforms

- Sessional Lecturer I: $9,997.475 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
- Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $10,699.215 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
- Sessional Lecturer II: $10,699.215 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
- Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,953.96 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
- Sessional Lecturer III: $10,953.96 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
- Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $11,228.90 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)
