About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of librarians and providing leadership in the development and implementation of library services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including budget management and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance library services and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of library resources and services.
• Lead professional development initiatives for the library staff.
• Represent the library on campus committees and external organizations as needed.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a library setting.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
