About the role
This course will explore how higher education institutions are transforming (or not) in an era of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) including teaching, research, service, administration and infrastructure, grounded in historical contexts of technology in post-secondary education more generally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and lead this graduate half course;
- Be available to students seeking assistance between classes;
- Evaluate student work and provide students with feedback.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a doctorate in Higher Education or a related field; have a demonstrated record of scholarship in the field of Higher Education, educational technology, AI and the subject area of this course in a post-secondary setting; have practical experience related to the topic of the course in a post-secondary institution; and have teaching experience in the subject area of the course.
