Course description: An introduction to diverse mediums and topics for exploration with an emphasis on experimentation and conceptual development. In addition to acquiring manual skills used in production of contemporary visual art, students are encouraged to explore their own individual artistic and research processes.

Pay
- Sessional Lecturer I: $ 9,997.58 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
- Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $ 10,699.22 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
- Sessional Lecturer II: $ 10,699.22 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
- Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $ 10,953.96 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
- Sessional Lecturer III: $ 10,953.96 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
- Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $ 11,228.90 per half-course, inclusive of vacation
Minimum Qualifications
MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred Qualifications
Internationally recognized practice.
Description of Duties
Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials and platform, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours
