Servtender - Part Time

About the Role

A Servtender position combines the roles of a server and a bartender, serving as the main face of our restaurant's front-of-house operations, including both food and bar services. This role is central to delivering genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy to our guests. It offers the unique opportunity to engage in multiple aspects of the Food & Beverage (F&B) program and is integral to its success.

The Food & Beverage team delivers a dining program focused on elevated favorites with approachable, genuine hospitality. As one of the most visible aspects of our residents' stay, the F&B program aims to provide unique and memorable connections and experiences. Our residents rely on us to create a home away from home, and we strive to delight and inspire with every interaction and offering.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, quality, genuine hospitality to each guest.
• Greets guests, takes orders, prepares drinks, and serves offerings in accordance with established restaurant and bar standards.
• Is knowledgeable of both food and beverage menus and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines.
• Operates cash register, receives payment in cash or credit card, and accurately counts and provides change for guests when applicable.
• Operates in compliance with federal, state, and local laws for serving alcohol.
• Prepares and serves non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as ordered, following recipes and preparation processes in compliance with company standards.
• Serves food as ordered in compliance with company standards.
• Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
• Monitors alcohol intake of guests, prohibiting sales to those who are intoxicated.
• Orders taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
• Follows sanitation standards to clean and maintain the restaurant front of house, including sweeping and vacuuming.
• Performs shift opening, closing, and prep duties as assigned for front-of-house operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• 6 months of previous serving and bartending experience (Preferred).
• Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience.
• Ability to exhibit a professional image, including cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.
• Basic math skills and ability to apply them in a professional restaurant setting.

Pay

$14 per hour.
