Hiring Agency Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet Location 5465 State Park Road Jamestown, KY 42629 Description The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a motivated team member with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service as our new Serving Attendant for Rowena Landing Restaurant at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, located on beautiful 60,000-plus-acre Lake Cumberland. This resort park is one of the premier lodging and dining facilities in the area. For decades, we have served guests in our 200-seat restaurant with panoramic views of Lake Cumberland. In this key front-of-house role, you will take food and beverage orders, serve guests, collect payments, assist with group events, and help maintain the restaurant area and equipment throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly manner and maintain knowledge of the menu and park. Take food and beverage orders and serve meals, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Collect guest payments and accurately complete point-of-sale transactions. Clean and prepare tables for guests. Prepare rolled silverware and set up tables with linens when needed for groups. Sweep and mop the dining room, service kitchens, and surrounding areas. Maintain a professional appearance and follow departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
