Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, including compliance reviews, performance monitoring, and cash flow assessments across a portfolio of commercial loans
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages, summarizing portfolio performance and key insights for management
- Independently manage and service multiple loans, maintaining accuracy and organization with minimal supervision
- Review UCC filings to ensure proper lien perfection and protection of collateral
- Lead pre-close onboarding calls with borrowers, clearly outlining post-close requirements and the servicing team’s role throughout the loan lifecycle
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing ongoing portfolio oversight through financial statement analysis, collateral tracking, and responsive communication
- Analyze and interpret loan collateral, contracts, and supporting documentation (e.g., loan agreements, commission statements, tracking reports) across various lending products
- Collaborate closely with management and underwriting to review and validate covenant requirements prior to submission
- Monitor and reconcile cash collateral accounts daily, ensuring accurate funding levels and maintaining detailed servicing logs
- Proactively address compliance issues by partnering with borrowers to resolve discrepancies and bring loans back into alignment with legal agreements
- Process cash collateral account (CCA) releases in accordance with loan document requirements
- Leverage financial systems and tools to import, analyze, and report on policy-level data across multiple industry segments (RIA, CPA, Insurance, Engineering, Automotive, Franchise)
Requirements
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of commercial loans, accounts, or financial relationships
- Strong foundation in financial analysis, including interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
- Pioneered ability to monitor compliance with contracts, covenants, or regulatory requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and working with large datasets for trend analysis
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as underwriting, accounting, legal, or operations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing, to resolve issues and provide updates
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, perform repetitive tasks accurately, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
