ServiceNow Tech Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and high-performing technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop technical design documentation for ServiceNow implementations.
- Consult with stakeholders and provide strategic platform recommendations.
- Lead technical solution walkthroughs and design discussions.
- Promote the use of out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities whenever possible.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
- Enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance, and update set best practices.
- Architect and optimize ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Predictive Intelligence, and Performance Analytics.
- Maintain CMDB data quality and implement Identification and Reconciliation Rules (IRR).
- Support ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITSM Advanced features, CMDB, and ITOM (Discovery and Service Mapping).
- Advanced experience with JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub.
- Strong understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITIL v4 frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring developers and establishing development best practices.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM and/or Discovery/Service Mapping
