ServiceNow Systems Integration
This position is within the Digital Modernization Sector supporting the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. The role involves operations, sustainment, maintenance, repair, and defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes supporting DISA’s mission partners and driving operational transformation through innovation. Daily on-site presence at Fort Meade is required. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance at the start of employment and obtain Security+ certification within 14 days of hire.
About the role
The ServiceNow System Integration Test Manager will work in a fast-paced, Agile team to verify and validate system changes, develop efficient test techniques, and implement automation testing. Responsibilities include validating ServiceNow configurations, development, support, and maintenance, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to confirm delivery of digital transformation solutions with a focus on request fulfillment, automated workflows, and key ITIL processes such as Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and other modules.
Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis and design.
- Ensure delivery of quality software using Agile Scrum development and test practices.
- Create automation tests using ServiceNow’s Automation Test Framework (ATFs).
- Implement continuous automated regression testing to improve system reliability, reduce deployment risk, and accelerate delivery of mission capabilities.
- Establish automated regression testing to ensure new capabilities do not impact existing mission-critical functionality.
- Analyze capability requirements and collaborate with technical leads to ensure verifiable implementations.
- Support identification of testable acceptance criteria in user stories.
- Test ServiceNow capabilities developed as part of user stories defined in the sprint plan.
- Support independent testers with development and execution of test procedures.
- Participate in sprint reviews to address testing results.
- Guide the team in sprint planning sessions.
- Translate and interpret functional requirements into test cases.
- Perform regression testing covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to the customer.
- Prepare test reports summarizing test results, including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.
- Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.
- Develop detailed test plans, test data, and define test acceptance criteria.
- Support customer demonstrations, data preparation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Use Atlassian Jira to document testing updates and create defects.
- Assist in maintaining the validation portion of the requirements traceability for software systems (RVTM).
- Mentor junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Obtain an active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+) within 14 days of hire.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full-time on-site support.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience. Additional years of work experience may substitute for a degree.
- Experience with test data management and testing automation.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration tools, and source control tools.
- Experience with Agile development and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to assist and train junior testers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration management, and maintenance.
- Prior knowledge and experience with ServiceNow’s Automation Test Frameworks (ATFs).
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for software development.
- Experience with ServiceNow Platform modules: Discovery, Event Management, Scripting, Service Mapping, Business Rules, Custom applications, Orchestration, Workflows, and Service Catalog.
- Demonstrated ability to perform code analysis, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify system deficiencies with recommended solutions.
- Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certification.
- AWS cloud certifications.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
Pay
Pay Range: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
