ServiceNow IRM Pro / GRC Architect-level Consultant
About the role
The role requires a ServiceNow IRM Pro / GRC architect-level Consultant with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow IRM Pro, particularly in managing relationships between risks, issues, controls, control objectives, policies/standards, exceptions, approvals, owners, expiration dates, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Translate business risk and compliance requirements into practical ServiceNow designs.
- Audit and assess current state IRM configurations, recommending a practical transition path.
- Create exception workflows, including approval paths, expiration dates, owner assignment, and control linkage.
- Define a minimal viable control structure for exceptions without a full library rollout.
- Facilitate discussions with customer risk/compliance leaders.
- Develop clear deliverables such as refined scope, milestone plans, backlog/user stories, workflow recommendations, training/adoption plans, and handoff documentation.
- Work remotely, but be prepared to come onsite occasionally for key sessions.
Qualifications
- Expert-level experience with ServiceNow IRM Pro.
- Experience with post-implementation recovery or reset.
- Strong understanding of risk, issue, exception, policy/standard, and control relationships within IRM.
- Ability to facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with a customer SME who is IRM/GRC certified.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $130.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC. The position is fully remote, but the candidate should be prepared to come onsite occasionally for key working sessions.
