ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Architect

About the role

The ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Architect will lead the design, implementation, and governance of ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture capabilities across large-scale enterprises. The architect will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Application Owners, Business Leaders, Portfolio Managers, and Platform Teams to establish business capability models, application portfolios, technology portfolios, roadmaps, reference architectures, and technical debt management frameworks. This role is responsible for driving adoption of the ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture product and ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology investments, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture Strategy
  • Define Enterprise Architecture vision and roadmap on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead architecture transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and reference models.
  • Collaborate with Chief Architects and Technology Leaders on strategic initiatives.
• ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Implementation
  • Lead implementation of ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture including Business Capability Management, Technical Capability Management, Application Portfolio Management (APM), Technology Portfolio Management (TPM), Application Roadmaps, Technical Debt Management, Rationalisation, and Modernisation Programs.
  • Configure EA data models, workspaces, dashboards, and governance processes.
  • Ensure alignment between EA, APM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and Strategic Portfolio Management.
• Capability Portfolio Management
  • Develop and maintain Business Capability Taxonomy.
  • Map capabilities to applications, products, services, and technologies.
  • Identify application redundancies and consolidation opportunities.
  • Define application lifecycle risk and strategic investment models.
  • Establish application scoring and assessment frameworks.
• Technical Architecture Governance
  • Design and govern Technical Reference Models.
  • Drive technology lifecycle management and technical currency assessments.
  • Lead architecture review boards and governance forums.
  • Define enterprise architecture KPIs and scorecards.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Facilitate workshops with Business Architects, Enterprise Architects, Product Teams, and Executives.
  • Act as trusted advisor for business and technology transformation programs.
  • Present architecture insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Integration Data Strategy
  • Define architecture integrations with CMDB, Discovery, ITOM, ITSM, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, and Strategic Portfolio Management.
  • Ensure enterprise-wide data quality and governance.
• Reporting Analytics
  • Design executive dashboards and architecture scorecards.
  • Deliver portfolio health, risk, technical debt, and investment insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for application modernization.
