Job Description
Responsible for the analysis, design, and integration of an organization's complete information resources, including infrastructure, applications, and data.
Define and Maintain
- ServiceNow architecture vision, roadmap, and reference architectures for the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and technology standards.
- Develop and present architecture blueprints, roadmaps.
- Translate business capabilities, strategic objectives, and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Provide Leadership
- Architectural leadership across ServiceNow product suites including ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, SPM, SecOps, CSM, CMDB, AI/Automation, and custom applications.
- Establish and enforce platform governance, design standards, development guardrails, integration patterns, and configuration management practices.
- Ensure sustainable, and upgrade-safe solutions.
Lead Modernization
- Drive adoption of emerging ServiceNow capabilities, AI-powered features, workflow automation, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
- Define future-state capabilities and prioritize strategic investments.
Evaluate Business Requirements
- Evaluate business requirements and perform solution assessments including build-verses buy analysis, platform rationalization, and technology recommendations.
Enterprise Integrations
- Leverage APIs, Integration Hub, event driven architectures, data governance, and enterprise data strategies.
Executive Consultation
- Consult on platform scalability, technical debt reduction, platform health, licensing optimization, and long-term architectural direction.
Technical Escalation and Advisor
- Escalate and serve as a trusted advisor for complex platform initiatives, major programs, and critical production issues.
Mentorship
- Mentor architects, developers, administrators, and business analysts.
- Promote architecture best practices, reusable design patterns, and technical excellence across delivery teams.
Skills
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, platform capabilities, data model design, integration architecture, security framework, and governance best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to design enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions that balance business value, regulatory requirements, scalability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulatory considerations, risk management, audit requirements, segregation of duties, and platform governance.
- Ability to translate complex business objectives into architectural roadmaps, capability models, and implementation strategies.
- Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, integration hub, MID Server Architecture, identity management, and cloud technologies.
- Experience establishing architecture standards, reviewing solution designs, and governing large portfolios of ServiceNow products and custom applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information from multiple stakeholders, identify gaps, evaluate options, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ability to influence senior leadership, build consensus across organizations, and communicate technical concepts to executive audiences.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA) or equivalent architecture experience preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science.

Total Compensation
- The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
