About the role

The ServiceNow Business Process Consultant plays a crucial role in transforming client businesses through innovative solutions. This role involves translating client requirements into functional designs, leading process workshops, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client requirements into functional designs, user stories, and solution specifications aligned with ServiceNow.
  • Lead process workshops, facilitate stakeholder interviews, develop feature lists and user stories for Agile delivery.
  • Provide guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring alignment to platform standards.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver value-driven outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience working in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in leading workshops, requirements gathering, process definition, process improvement and re-engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience developing requirements documentation, project artifacts, process documents and creating user stories.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience identifying how to meet business requirements using ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree (in Business or IT related field preferred) or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate’s degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Qualifications

  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader Certification.
  • Agile Scrum Product Owner Certification.
  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and any additional ServiceNow certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint).
  • Extensive experience in process management competencies.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • Demonstrated ability in consulting engagements providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems by focusing on providing options which identify the pros and cons of those options and the risks and impacts of each option.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Annual salary range for this role varies based on location and may be up to $196,000 annually in certain locations. For more details, refer to the Salary Ranges page.

Schedule

Travel may be required for this role, with an expected travel percentage ranging from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
