Service Writer/Sales Person

About the role

As the Sales Rep/Service Writer, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and mechanics to ensure requested repairs are noted and necessary repairs are performed and quoted appropriately. You will also provide follow-up on missed sales and act as the liaison between the company and customers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand and record the repairs requested on the work order.
• Advises customers on service/wait times.
• Records services needed, cost of parts and labor, and customer quotes on service tickets.
• Determines schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
• Works alongside mechanics to develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
• Performs other relevant duties as they arise.

Requirements

• Sales Experience: 3 years minimum.
• Basic Skills: Active Listening, Reading Comprehension, Complex Problem-Solving Skills, Technical Skills, Judgment and Decision Making, Systems Analysis, Systems Evaluation, Equipment Maintenance.

Skills

• Troubleshooting.
• Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

Pay

Hourly, plus commission. Pay is based on experience.

8 am-2 pm M-S or 1 pm-6 pm M-S
