Sales Rep/Service Writer

About the role

As the Sales Rep/Service Writer, you will be responsible for:

• Communicating effectively with customers and mechanics to ensure requested repairs are noted and necessary repairs are done and quoted.
• Acting as the liaison between the company and customers, handling repair inquiries.
• Understanding and recording customer repair requests on work orders.
• Recording services needed, part costs, labor costs, and providing quotes on service tickets.
• Determining schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priorities, equipment quantities, and personnel skills.
• Working alongside mechanics to develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

You will provide follow-up on missed sales, communicate with customers to understand their repair needs, and advise them on service and wait times. You will also record services needed, costs, and customer quotes on service tickets, determine schedules, and assign tasks to mechanics.

Requirements

• Sales Experience: 3 years minimum.
• Basic Skills: Active listening, complex problem-solving, reading comprehension, critical thinking, speaking.
• Technical Skills: Troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, systems analysis, systems evaluation.
