Service Writer Customer Support Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solicit the sale of new or additional services
• Strong Data Entry Skills
• Utilizes a computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in the shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims
• Communicating with customers in person, over the phone, and using a computer
• Handle/resolve service-related concerns

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years experience in Diesel/Auto/Parts field
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• A diesel technician background is strongly encouraged
• ASE certifications are strongly encouraged
• A Driver’s License is required
• CDL is a Plus

PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Moves frequently, stands, walks, and sits
• Uses hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs with assistance
• Must be able to read and write
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
