About the role

The EPG Service Writer plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs. This individual is responsible for greeting customers, updating them on the types of services required for their vehicles, and acting as a liaison between customers and service-related businesses.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service from vehicle intake to release
• Listening to customer concerns
• Writing repair orders
• Developing estimates
• Providing repair quotes and invoices to customers for payment
• Maintaining customer rapport and record-keeping
• Staying up to date and tracking repair(s) statuses
• Reviewing and approving service invoices

Requirements

• Experience in a similar Service Writer role(s)
• Accustomed to a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) between customer and service departments
• Microsoft Excel general knowledge (preferred)
• Willingness to work and grow in a team-oriented company
• Ability to use sound judgment and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Able to meet deadlines, work efficiently, and with a drive for results
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is an on-site position in Apopka, FL 32703. Reliable commute or relocation before starting work is required.
