Service Worker
Responsibilities & Authorities
- Delivers and removes, as necessary, raw materials as well as all packaging materials to and from the production area per bill of materials utilizing scanning software.
- Completes proper lock out tag out of equipment.
- Executes production changes including but not limited to portions of the label change, resin change, color change, and plate/job change.
- Keep accurate records / paperwork according to established procedures.
- Prevent nonconforming product from being shipped to customers through proper scanning procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S.
- Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements.
- Has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Possesses well-developed organization skills and is very detail oriented.
- Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess some knowledge of mechanical principles, robotics, and other technical expertise.
- Computer experience is preferred.
- Maintain forklift license and be able to safely operate and change tank / battery.
