Service Technician - Vairo Village Apartments

About the role

Our Maintenance Technicians at Berger Communities are responsible for ensuring that our apartment communities feel like home. They take pride in their work, enjoy problem-solving, and make a daily impact on residents.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings
• Get empty homes move-in ready
• Keep the grounds, amenities, and common areas looking great
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Jump in on snow removal and share on-call shifts
• Create a great resident experience with friendly, professional service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in apartment maintenance or similar field preferred

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for customer service

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in basic electrical and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Pay & Schedule

• $20–$22/hour, paid biweekly
• Full-time hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Participates in an on-call rotation one day per week and every fifth weekend
