Service Technician (Technology)

About the Role

As a Service Technician for our Construction Technology team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions by diagnosing, repairing, and servicing GPS, machine control, survey, and laser equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service—while working in a safe, professional, and team-oriented environment.

Pay

$25 – $44+ per hour, with a competitive wages and profit-sharing program to match your skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey, and laser equipment accurately and efficiently
• Identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions to keep equipment performing at its best
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process to ensure confidence and satisfaction
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself, your teammates, and customers
• Participate in company- and manufacturer-sponsored training to stay current on emerging technology and build new skills
• Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools, equipment, and the shop clean, efficient, and ready for the next job

Requirements

• Technical and mechanical aptitude with strong mechanical skills and working knowledge of electronics
• Experience with GPS or machine control technology is a plus
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Computer skills for diagnostics, documentation, and work orders
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Keen attention to detail
• Valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship
