Service Technician - SIGN ON BONUS

About the role

Allegiant-Carter Management is hiring a SERVICE TECHNICIAN at Hunt Club, a beautiful property in Germantown MD. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and routine upkeep on the property
• Perform make-ready process for vacant apartments and new move-ins
• Document and track service requests and paperwork
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Inspect work performed by contractors and vendors
• Conduct routine and periodic inspections
• Treat residents and others with respect, answer questions, and respond to complaints
• Work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights

Requirements

• Service or Maintenance technician experience (multifamily industry preferred)
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry
• CPO certification (desired)
• HVAC Certification (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Outdoor work in varying climates
• Use of manual and power tools weighing up to 40 pounds
• Safely use and climb ladders and scaffolding weighing up to 125 pounds reaching heights of 40 feet
• Transport and set up appliances, furniture, building materials, tools, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds using hand trucks
