Service Technician - Repair (ETI)
ETI Precision is seeking a Service (Repair) Technician to join its team in Frederick, MD. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Evaluating units for repair, researching replacement components, creating repair estimates, and executing approved repairs
- Troubleshooting problems, adjusting, and calibrating customer and ETI-owned instrumentation and equipment
- Managing customer engagements, providing timely responses to inquiries and requests for action
- Assisting Regional Service and Production Managers in driving timely turnaround of equipment
- Aiding in the assembly of ETI equipment as needed
Basic Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a related field required - Electrical or mechanical calibration experience, and military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field
- Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment
- Able to discuss technical issues common to the products and services ETI provides (verbally and in writing) with customers, suppliers, and internal associates
- Able to travel to customers' locations throughout the United States as needed
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background security check
