Service Technician - Remote
About the role
Sentry Equipment & Erectors, LLC, a subsidiary of ProMach’s Systems business, seeks a Field Service Technician to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and solve complex technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Install, audit, and maintain conveyor equipment and related container handling machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including PLC, HMI, and servo code corrections.
- Connect to and navigate PLC programming code, check input/output (I/O), and troubleshoot tach conveyors.
- Implement interface connections between PLCs and generate necessary changes in HMI programs.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in service conveyor and machinery.
- Experience with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley, and knowledge of HMI and servos.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Proven ability to solve problems and pay close attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and interface experience.
