The RTI Depot is located in East Rutherford, NJ. The Service Technician role is remote.
Compensation
- $31.50 per hour
- Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for nights and weekends (specific hours and days apply)
- Overtime: 1.5x your hourly rate for over 40 hours per week
- Safety Bonus Potential: Up to $4,000 annually (up to $1,000 per quarter)

Primary Job Accountabilities
- Install and maintain products safely, timely, and accurately
- Meet and control operational goals and timelines
- Comply with internal processes and procedures, DOT, OSHA, and HACCP regulations
- Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and paperwork standards
- Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations
- Service customers' needs, train and coach them on the system as needed
- Utilize iPhone apps for multiple functions in role (parts, customer notes, clocking in/out)
- May include night installation work; schedule varies based on customer demand and install schedule
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- DOT-regulated vehicle operation required
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Problem-solving skills for installation and service
- Strong customer focus and ability to handle challenging situations
- Meets Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintains a clean driving record
- Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand
- Physical abilities: bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, reach, climb up to 20 feet

About the Role
The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for the installation and servicing of our advanced equipment in locations throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician with Restaurant Technologies, you’ll install our core products for new customers and assist with customer training through troubleshooting and servicing. For existing customers, you will be responsible for service, repair, and routine maintenance.
