Service Technician, North Bethesda, MD (Envoi Apts.)
About the role
The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
Responsibilities
- Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Service Manager.
- Absorb hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
- Absorb pests control, property inspections, etc., when accompanying vendors in occupied units.
- Absorb delivery of resident notices for office staff.
- Perform the following duties: Plumbing repairs, Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms, Appliance repairs, Electrical repairs, Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management.
- Must be able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations.
- Must be available for night/weekend call duty.
- Must be able to work during inclement weather.
