Job Summary

The Service Technician position at Arrowwood Apartments is seeking an experienced individual to join their team in North Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate should possess 1 to 3 years of experience in Community Management, be able to lift up to 100 lbs., have a valid driver’s license, and be available for night/weekend call duty.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Afford assistance in after-hours emergency situations, including hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
  • Accompany vendors in occupied units for services such as pest control, property inspections, etc.
  • Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices.
  • Required to work one weekend day.
  • Perform the following duties: Plumbing repairs, Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms, Appliance repairs, Electrical repairs, Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs, HVAC repairs.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management.
  • Able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Available to assist in after-hours emergency situations.
  • Available for night/weekend call duty.
  • Able to work during inclement weather.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform the listed duties.
