Service Technician, North Bethesda, MD (Arrowwood Apts.)
Job Summary
The Service Technician position at Arrowwood Apartments is seeking an experienced individual to join their team in North Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate should possess 1 to 3 years of experience in Community Management, be able to lift up to 100 lbs., have a valid driver’s license, and be available for night/weekend call duty.
Responsibilities
- Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Afford assistance in after-hours emergency situations, including hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
- Accompany vendors in occupied units for services such as pest control, property inspections, etc.
- Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices.
- Required to work one weekend day.
- Perform the following duties: Plumbing repairs, Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms, Appliance repairs, Electrical repairs, Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs, HVAC repairs.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management.
- Able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Available to assist in after-hours emergency situations.
- Available for night/weekend call duty.
- Able to work during inclement weather.
- Knowledge and ability to perform the listed duties.
