Service Technician, North Bethesda, MD (Aurora & Wentworth Apts.)

Job Summary

Aurora & Wentworth Apts. (LCOR) is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their team. The Service Technician will perform various maintenance functions to enhance the value of the community.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Service Manager.
• Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
• Absorb vendors in occupied units for services, including but not limited to pest control, property inspections, etc.
• Aid office staff with delivery of resident notices.
• Perform the following duties: Plumbing repairs, Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms, Appliance repairs, Electrical repairs, Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs, HVAC certification required.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management
• Able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Available to assist in after-hours emergency situations
• Available for night/weekend call duty
• Available to work during inclement weather

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to perform plumbing repairs, repair/replacement of locks, smoke alarms, appliance repairs, electrical repairs, roofing inspection/minor roof repairs, HVAC certification required.
