About the role
The Service Technician ensures that all DLP-owned and managed assets deliver an exceptional experience to our residents, tenants, and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining curb appeal, handling cleaning and maintenance needs, and responding to after-hours emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Resolve assigned service requests within 48 hours with no callbacks
- Manage work orders efficiently
- Execute make-ready tasks for vacated rental homes
- Travel between scattered-site properties to complete maintenance work orders
- Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Maintain property grounds, common areas, and amenities of scattered sites
- Update and manage assigned work orders in property management software
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed and as part of the on-call rotation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
Requirements
- Strong handyman skills with experience in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage time effectively while working in the field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile technology and work order systems
- CPO Certification is a plus
- Must provide basic hand tools
- Able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Self-starter who can work independently across multiple properties
- Reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Qualifications
This position requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends. Applicants must be available for occasional on-call duties.

Pay
$20.00-$25.00 Hourly, depending on experience and certification.
Schedule
Full-time, flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends.
