Service Technician Mechanic - Oklahoma City, OK

About the role

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is a leading provider of utility trucks, cranes, bucket trucks, heavy equipment, rentals, sales, service, parts, and upfitting solutions across North America. We are hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment at our El Reno, OK location (3205 Davinion Rd., El Reno, OK 73036).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for a variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards within budget.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Ford.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel engines; a strong background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.
• Perform maintenance and emergency repairs on fuel, brake, electrical, and transmission systems.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor to track costs and ensure proper pricing.
• Submit all work/repair orders to a supervisor for approval to maintain budgets and accurately reflect repair costs.
• Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.

Requirements

• Experience and/or training on related equipment with heavy/light-duty trucks, diesel, refuse, construction/AG, or aircraft/GSE.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Vocational/Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have your own mechanic tools.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, day shift (7:00 AM start). Overtime as needed.
