Service Technician Level B

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and automotive repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and drivability repairs.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify recommended repairs.
• Perform NYS safety and emissions inspections when qualified.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and established repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with service advisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service/repair experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and Clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred: Valid NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector License.
• Preferred: ASE Certification.
• Preferred: Automotive technical training or additional industry certifications.
• Preferred: Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.

Pay

Competitive Pay & Sign-On Bonus: $22.00‑$32.00 per flat‑rate hour, based on experience and qualifications. $2,000 Sign‑On Bonus for qualified candidates after meeting company requirements. Opportunity to increase your earnings through productivity and performance.
