Candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic while completing tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision. Customer service and communication skills are required. The Ag Equipment Service Technician may be asked to clearly explain to a customer, in a courteous and effective manner, aspects of work being performed. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and other brands of ag equipment and technology, sometimes in the fieldPerform setup and pre-delivery preparation of new equipmentMaintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive productsMaintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashionComplete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments Qualifications Qualifications: 2 years experience performing service repairs on large agricultural or relatable heavy equipmentWork history of consistently meeting performance metricsAbility to follow Technical Manual proceduresExperience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in agricultural, off road, construction or other heavy equipmentHigh School diploma or equivalent experience required . . .
