Service Technician - Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

North American Refrigeration is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to provide service and support, diagnose issues, build relationships with customers, adhere to safety standards, manage expenses, and travel extensively across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or associate degree, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
• Preferred: CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.
• Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.
• Effective communication skills.
