Service Technician HVAC/R-Hot Side

About the role

General Parts Group, one of the largest Foodservice Equipment Support companies in the U.S., is hiring experienced commercial kitchen technicians in the Milwaukee area. The role involves servicing and repairing restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills.
• Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment including walk‑ins, ice machines, and reach‑ins.
• Travel to customer sites and perform installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work independently in the field to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.

Requirements

• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment (cooking or refrigeration, or both).
• Valid driver’s license.
• EPA certification required for refrigeration technicians.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
