Service Technician (Heavy Equipment)

Join Our Team! Do you have a passion for working with heavy machinery and solving complex mechanical problems? Join our team as a Service Technician and help keep essential equipment running at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment such as directional drills, trenchers, brush chippers, excavators, aerial lifts, and more.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using computerized tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools.
- Clean, lubricate, test, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Complete service tickets and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate repair status with customers and collaborate with fellow technicians as needed.
- Fill in as a Field Service Tech on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of experience repairing heavy equipment OR completion of a formal technical training program preferred.
- Agricultural experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and time management skills.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
- CDL Class B or higher preferred.
Qualifications
