Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Expertise in marine electronics, including troubleshooting of networks, autopilots, radar, and sonar systems
- Proficient in marine electrical systems: A/C and D/C systems, inverters, chargers, digital switching, and more
- Skilled in outboard rigging, repair, and maintenance, with certifications from Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, or Suzuki preferred
- Certified in marine generators, including Fisher Panda, Kohler, Westerbeke, Onan, or Phasor
- Familiarity with marine sanitation, freshwater systems, and all related plumbing
- Light fiberglass repair experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Certified outboard mechanic
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced service department
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Must supply your own basic hand tools
- Must have proven knowledge or work experience in the marine field
