Service Technician - Fire Systems
About the role
You will support our team in safeguarding our clients' assets. You will install, maintain, and repair surveillance, access, audio and video, intercom systems, fire alarms, intrusion, and residential security in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. You will ensure systems function correctly and comply with fire codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test existing systems and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Thoroughly understand electrical systems, components, and local codes and regulations.
- Provide technical support and instruction to customers on properly using and maintaining systems.
- Aid in the service and installation of security and fire systems hardware.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
- Create documentation and reports for security assessments and audits.
- Achieve training module and certification completion within specified timelines.
- Maintain inventory records for all hardware.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
- Respond to support requests promptly and professionally, ensuring user satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role supporting fire systems.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Core work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and travel to various customer sites is required.
