Responsibilities
- Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
- Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
- Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
- Aid with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred.
- HVAC certification required.
- Excellent customer relations experience.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).
