Service Technician-CDL

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Service top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Use logic and methods to solve problems to find effective solutions.
• Understand and adhere to general railroad and Loram operating rules.
• Manage inventory held on maintenance vehicle through company processes.
• Plan work based on length and task difficulty, develop schedules, and anticipate and adjust for problems to meet objectives.
• Able to work independently.
• Produce and process work orders and complete all necessary delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns through approved company processes.
• Proactively resolve customer issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Licenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications
• Ability to obtain a CDL
• Education: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical
• Experience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role, 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills
