Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project management staff.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
• Assist with material take-off and estimates.
• Maintain a safe project environment.
• Ensure "turn-key" completion of field operation activities, including quality assurance and timely completion.
• Document work completion and manpower counts on a daily/weekly basis.
• Identify change conditions and communicate effectively with the client and project management team.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with building tenants and management.

Requirements

• Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with drywall, paint, and rough carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Physical Demands

This is not a sedentary position. Work consists of moderate to heavy physical activity, including:

• Walking and moving around regularly on an active construction site, including climbing ladders and stairs.
• Standing for extended periods and accessing temporary routes and scaffolding.
• Bending, reaching, holding, grasping, turning, and lifting/moving objects up to 50 lbs.
• Traversing the jobsite while avoiding obstacles and hazards, adhering to security and safety measures.

Personal protective equipment (PPE)—including hard hats, face/eye gear, and safety vests—will be provided and must be worn at all times on the jobsite. The role requires the ability to speak clearly and to see, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., machinery, alarms, traffic).

Work Environment

Primary work is performed at an active construction site. Some tasks, such as phone calls, meetings, computer use, documentation, and reviewing contracts/blueprints/budgets, may occur in a jobsite trailer or temporary office with tight quarters, limited space, and exterior stairs.

• Noise levels vary and may reach moderate to extreme levels for short periods.
• Work is subject to inflexible deadlines and may require hours beyond the normal schedule, including in extreme weather conditions.

This role does not lend itself to telework or remote opportunities.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
