Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Checks, adjusts, and repairs all gas control systems and related electrical components.
- Adjusts, repairs, and cleans all types of gas-consuming equipment.
- Installs all parts on all appliances and interchanges parts, where necessary.
- Investigates and makes safe any type of leak complaint.
- Makes whatever written reports are required in performance of assigned job.
- Assists in on-the-job training of lower classification service technicians.
- Works closely with other departments and provides whatever assistance is necessary.
- Performs all and any duties of the lower Service Department classifications as required.
Qualifications
- Must have met the qualifications of Service C-2.
- Maintain an acceptable personal appearance and an acceptable level of job knowledge and performance.
- Display knowledge of safety procedures and rules of the Company.
- Able to make written, legible, and accurate reports of all services performed on the customer's premises.
