Service technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with security camera systems, access control, and network equipment
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical problems on-site
• Perform maintenance and system upgrades for existing clients
• Test and verify system performance after repairs
• Communicate with clients to explain issues and solutions clearly

Must Have

• 2+ years of experience in low voltage, security systems, or service work
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with IP cameras, NVRs, or access control systems
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice to have

• Experience with Ubiquiti, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar systems
• Experience with access control platforms (Brivo, Kisi, etc.)
• Networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
• Experience with service ticket systems or CRM tools
• Certifications in low voltage or networking
