Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist in the maintenance of refractory systems.
• Service specialized pneumatic refractory gunite equipment.
• Monitor refractory inventories.
• Actively follow and support established employee safety program.
• Schedule and plan refractory maintenance outages.
• Track refractory performance.
• Interact with customers to determine their immediate and long-term refractory requirements.
• Schedule refractory delivery.

Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• Effective verbal communication skills, a proven ability to “multi-task”, and the ability to work and interact with others at different internal and external organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
• This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, overtime and at time be responsive 24/7.
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
