Service Technician

About the role

Usherwood is searching for a hardworking and client-focused Copier Technician to provide onsite client support, maintaining and integrating copiers and printers from industry-leading manufacturers including Canon, Xerox, and HP.

Responsibilities

• Effectively troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of copiers and printers.
• Develop and maintain productive, positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage time and customer expectations within a geographical territory.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve and maintain company benchmark performance.
• Engage in continuous product training.
• Install or upgrade equipment in various field locations (must be able to lift up to 60 lbs).
• Configure hardware and software components after installation.
• Perform routine maintenance on technology equipment.
• Test equipment to troubleshoot issues.
• Document installation and repairs.
• Maintain all tools and equipment used during service calls.
• Teach customers how to use the equipment properly.
• Manage stock of replacement parts and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Strong problem-solving and client service skills.
• Basic understanding of computers and networking.
• Xerox certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time.
• Eagerness to learn.
