About the role
Location: Trek Store Walled Lake. As a Trek Service Technician, no two days are the same. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You'll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes, and you'll be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you'll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot repairs and service all types of bicycles
- Perform first assembly and preparation of brand-new models before they reach the sales floor
- Build and maintain customer relationships through trustworthy, high-quality service
- Deliver stellar customer service and hospitality on every interaction
- Continuously learn proper service methods and new technologies
Requirements
- Self-motivation, positive attitude, and team-focused mentality with willingness to pitch in on any task
- Fantastic hospitality: warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and drive to help even on the toughest, busiest days
- Top-notch communication skills
- Impressive attention to detail and a love for tinkering until you figure it out
- Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles
- Desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies
- Prior mechanic experience is not required — training provided
Pay
Hourly rate: $17.00 – $22.00
