Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our residential property, Ravenswood Terrace. Our Service Team contributes a high level of residential property maintenance knowledge and skill to the operation of the property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our apartment homes, common areas and grounds, with particular attention toward efficiency, safety and asset protection.
• Assist our Service Manager with the responsibility of managing expenses within the allotted budget.
• Perform preventative maintenance, energy conservation, and ensure superior service to residents.
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional English.
• Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
• Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at our other residential communities when needed.

Schedule

Mandatory overtime periods and assistance at other residential communities when needed.
