Thalhimer is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Hampton River Villas in Hampton, VA. This full-time role offers a regular work week with on-call hours as needed. As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our apartment homes, ensuring residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment.

Responsibilities

• Completing apartment work orders and turnovers promptly
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Assisting with the upkeep of common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff
• Working with the team to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled efficiently and professionally
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests as needed
• Managing daily checklists, occasional tasks, and troubleshooting unexpected issues

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between properties if needed
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hands-on work
